CASE DESCRIPTION:
since the 21st century, electronic technology has shown more and more convenience and quality in people’s daily life and operation; at the same time, many redundant work steps have been solved to a large extent. as the main configuration system of electronic products, the switch button is used in many electronic fields; with different application environments, the function of each button is different….
we responded to the customer needs of this switch button and presented the initial customization difficulties:
- the single-stroke button structure of one pressure and one control cannot meet the product requirements, and it is necessary to follow the dual-stroke button structure;
- when the original button press force is too large, the adjustment of the force can not achieve rebound;
now requires that after pressing to the end, the silicone also needs to rebound to resist the plastic keycap to ensure that the plastic key is flat with the chassis.

In response to the above problems, ES engineers repeatedly tested during the evaluation process to finally develop a feasible solution to maximize the customer’s needs:
- the inner and outer walls, contact bumps, etc. are made of silicone in all directions to ensure good elasticity;
- structurally, the inner and outer walls are perpendicular to the substrate;
- the vertical distance between the bottom of the contact bump and the bottom of the substrate is 6mm.
