A protective case for a payment terminal is judged less by how it looks on day one and more by how it performs after a year of handling, cleaning, and sunlight exposure. For the AMP-9000, we started with the terminal itself—measuring corner radii, port positions, and button clearances before designing the mold. That fit study determined wall thickness and parting line placement, so the case would seat properly without flexing, rattling, or blocking access to any interface.
The surface design addressed a common weakness in protective cases: applied textures wear smooth over time. Instead, we engraved the anti-slip pattern into the mold cavity, giving the case a consistent tactile surface for its full service life. The silicone compound was then adjusted with UV stabilizers and anti-aging additives to slow yellowing and surface hardening under prolonged light and heat exposure. This is a brand-customer customization case, not a product for sample sale. Brands developing similar protective solutions can begin with a validation batch of 100 pieces, with tooling, molding, and inspection performed entirely in-house.
1. Geometry-Driven Mold Design, Verified Before Tooling : We measure the terminal's corner radii, port openings, and button clearances and validate wall thickness and parting lines before mold fabrication. Fit issues are resolved at the design stage rather than during trial runs, reducing tooling revisions and development time.
2. Anti-Slip Texture Engraved Into the Mold Cavity : Rather than applying a surface coating, we cut the grip pattern directly into the mold. This produces a tactile surface that remains consistent over years of handling and does not peel, fade, or wear smooth at high-contact points.
3.Silicone Formulation Tuned for Long-Term Appearance : We adjust the silicone compound with UV stabilizers and anti-aging additives to target the specific failure modes of protective cases: yellowing, surface hardening, and grip loss under prolonged sunlight and frequent contact.
1.Industry Compatibility:
Retail & Payment : POS terminals in stores, supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants requiring device protection
Logistics & Delivery : Handheld POS devices used in field operations, delivery services, and mobile payment scenarios
